Spirit Level Studios is an EDM creation battle station, placed and guided within the level of spirit, variously (and sometimes not at all) located among the battle fields along the east coast of the island known as Australia.
We are yet another record label, except without the records, and without the labels.
Our only motivation is music. It comes first. We keep our day jobs, so to speak, for trivial matters concerning the payment of rent, and the pursuit of something with which to pay. Music motivates us in such tasks, and indeed just about all areas of "modern" life. Music allows the process of making a living; actually worth living through. It is a way of life. We do not seek to 'make a living' or profit FROM music, because music comes first. We seek only to 'make a living' BECAUSE OF music, and we feel that this is the most honest and creatively free manner in which we can function.
